Welcome To pDOG Training Academy

 The pDOG course is 85% hands-on and covers a wide range of topics, including clipper and scissor techniques, equipment maintenance, breed clips, bathing and blow-drying techniques, shampoo knowledge, coat types, skin issues, head styling, first aid, and most importantly, dog behavioural grooming techniques. 

Prior to starting your practical training with us,  you'll have access to an online theory course, to be completed and when all requirements are met successfully, you'll get a certificate in professional dog grooming. The TCA course is RSPCA business supported and you will be awarded with an industry and employer recognised certificate of achievement upon completion. This course was developed by expert groomers in the industry and covers the basic care of dogs, including nutrition, exercise, hygiene and preventative health care. Learn about key concepts which are required by dog groomers including basic anatomy, tools and equipment and handling.
